The One with the Heads up

I am alive and well!!!! I apologize to all of you who have been checking my blog daily hoping to see an update (I won’t flatter myself, I know there are only a few of you) but no… no I have not given up on blogging, the opposite actually!

I just spent a month in site without leaving. No cell phone, no computer, no ipod, no electricity (duh), no fresh veggies, no visiting my ‘gringo’ neighbors for real conversation and chocolate brownies. Just me and the real B.E for 32 days! It was just a little experiment I wanted to do… all of which I will explain soon enough.

I have had a lot of time to think and to write over these past 4 weeks and I have put together 7 separate blog posts to share with you. This month presented many challenges I was not at all expecting going into it.

So heads up......I plan to upload one post a day starting December 1st-December 7th. Until then, I am off to Mexico for the Watkins family reunion and some much needed R and R.

May you all find yourselves in the company of your loved ones this Thanksgiving. I hope through some of my blog posts you have seen truly how much you have to be thankful for. My list grows daily.
